Tips for a faster weight loss

  1. Never eat or drink unless you are truly hungry or thirsty.
  2. Do not eat or drink on a coffee break just to be sociable  unless it is unsweetened coffee, tea or preferably water.
  3. Eat slowly. this gives the regulatory mechanisms of the body a chance to act on our appetite centers, reducing hunger during the meal and allowing us to be satisfied with less food.
  4. Do not skip meals or it will be difficult to control your appetite when do you eat.
  5. Never shop for food on an empty stomach.
  6. Eat dinner early . This enables the body to burn up what it has consumed.
  7. When you feel hungry, try having a liquid instead of eating. This may satisfy the urge for food.
  8. Do not keep high calorie snacks around the house. Avoid temptation!
  9. Keep low calorie snacks readily available carrots, celery, fruits.
  10. Eat a salad before the meal.
  11.  If you are going to eat late _eat less!
  12. If you must have a sandwich _ try to use only one slice of whole grain bread.
  13. Do not fry meat; broiling, baking or boiling are preferable.
  14. The best beveage is water.
  15. Get plenty of rest. It is possible to mistake the body’s need for rest for hunger pains.
  16. Fish has more protein than beef and less calories.
  17. No sugar.
  18. Safflower margarine only.
  19. Safflower mayonnaise only.
  20. Safflower oil only.
  21. No alcohol.
  22. One ounce of cream or milk is allowed in each cup of coffee.
  23. Herb tea_ all you want.
  24. No catsup.
  25. Season with vegetable salt or spice.
  26. drink at least eight glasses of water a day.
  27. Think trim!
  28. Weigh daily.
  29. Do not weigh one week before your period.
  30. Do not weigh until your period is finished.
  31. For those who must, white wine may be taken with dinner.
